More Than a Souvenir: Helping Guests Take Home a Piece of the Places They Love

More Than a Souvenir: Helping Guests Take Home a Piece of the Places They Love

Certain places leave an impression that lingers long after a visit has ended.

Whether it's a historic estate, a museum, a botanical garden, or a beloved destination, the most memorable experiences deserve keepsakes that reflect their significance. Not merely souvenirs, but objects of lasting beauty that preserve the stories, memories, and character of a place.

Jewelry is the perfect artistic medium to fulfill this purpose, because pieces crafted with intention and care will allow the wearer to carry the meaning of a location with them wherever they go.

Sometimes that meaning can be captured by crafting the piece with real materials repurposed from the location. Other times, it emerges through thoughtful design inspired by a location's history and identity. Either way, the result is the same: heirlooms that allow people to carry a piece of a place with them—and pass that story down through generations.

Transforming History into Jewelry

Recently, we began an exciting partnership with Graycliff Estate, a historic property in Buffalo, New York designed by renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Like many of the private estates he created for clients, Graycliff draws visitors from around the world who come to experience its remarkable architecture, scenery, and history.

As part of ongoing restoration efforts, the team at Graycliff wanted to preserve some of the original materials being removed from the property rather than simply discarding them. That's where our partnership began.

They sent us copper gutters and cypress beams that had been part of the estate for decades. Together, we transformed those historic materials into a custom jewelry collection featuring necklaces and matching earrings.

Now, visitors can leave with more than memories. They can take home a handcrafted heirloom made from the very estate they came to experience.

Partnering with Museums, Historic Sites, and Destinations

When people travel to visit a special destination, whether they’re exploring a carefully curated art exhibit or commemorating one of the most important moments of their life at a stunning venue, they often want to take a physical reminder of that experience home with them to cherish forever.

That's why we partner with museums, historic sites, resorts, botanical gardens, and destination venues to create keepsakes that reflect the character and history of their locations.

Whether through repurposed materials, custom engraving, exclusive collections, or curated selections from our existing lines, we help organizations offer visitors something far more meaningful than a typical souvenir.

Historic Sites

Historic sites often possess materials with tremendous meaning. During renovations, architectural elements that have stood for generations are frequently discarded—but we believe they can be given new life.

The Graycliff project is a perfect example of this. We are also currently exploring concepts that would transform wood from historic ships into jewelry for shipyards and naval museums.

We can also honor historic properties through intentional design. At Marble House Mansion, part of the Newport Preservation Society, we created jewelry with custom engravings featuring the pineapple, a timeless symbol of hospitality.

Nature Destinations

Natural materials can tell powerful stories.

Imagine incorporating a fallen branch from a botanical garden into a wedding band, allowing couples to carry a piece of the place where they said "I do" with them for a lifetime.

Other meaningful materials, such as sand from a beloved coastal destination, can be incorporated into custom pieces that commemorate milestone moments. For wedding venues, resorts, and gardens, these heirlooms become a way for guests to preserve memories in a deeply personal way.

Museums

We're honored to partner with some incredible museum shops across the country, including:

  • Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, featuring our officially licensed America250™ Collection

  • MIT Museum in Cambridge, Massachusetts

  • Morse Museum of American Art in Winter Park, Florida

  • Chrysler Museum of Art in Norfolk, Virginia

Whether we're creating exclusive pieces, custom engravings, or selecting collections that complement a location's identity, our goal remains the same: helping visitors take home something with lasting meaning.

Let Your Guests Take a Piece of Their Experience Home

When people visit a meaningful place, whether it’s a family on summer vacation or a couple saying their vows, they want to take something special home with them.

Not a gimmick.

Not another trinket destined for a drawer.

They want something timeless. Something crafted with care. Something that reminds them of where they've been, who they shared the experience with, and why it mattered.

Whether it's jewelry made from historic materials or a collection inspired by the spirit of a place, we help organizations create keepsakes with lasting meaning.

Because the best souvenirs don't just commemorate a place.

They let you carry a piece of it with you.
